I
am male, 45 and recently have been feeling frequently dizzy. HDL=27 (down
from 38); LDL=98; triglycerides=390 (up from 98) What's going on, possibly

I am a 26-year-old
female, very active and eating healthy. Lately I have been experiencing
pulsing in my ear. When I gave blood yesterday, my blood pressure was
high at 150/92. Usually my pressure is normal. Can you please tell me
if the pulsing is a symptom of high blood pressure or if possibly there
is something else wrong?
Normal blood pressure is 130/85 or lower.
Your results are high and should be evaluated by your physician to determine
the cause. The pulsing may or may not be related.

I am 27 years old and
have been on ortho tricycline for about 9 years. I want to go off the
pill and was just wondering if, after I am done taking my last pill in
the pack, I can just stop? What are the side effects of going off the
pill?
After having been on the pill for 9 years
without any symptoms, it should not be a problem for you to stop the pills,
with your physician's approval.
