High Blood Pressure Check List

  • High Blood Pressure may not make you feel ill, but it is serious and requires medical attention
  • Blood pressure can be reduced with changed daily habits, diet and by taking medicines
  • Cutting down your intake of sodium and alcohol, taking more exercise and reducing your weight, all may be helpful, but they are not substitutes for medicine unless your physician so advises you
  • Never double your dosage of medicine if the previous day's dose was missed
  • Take your medicine the same time each day to make it part of your regular routine
