Reducing Cancer Risk:
Some Immediate Steps

- Consume more cruciferous
(cabbage-family) veggies such as broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts
and kale.
- Add high-fiber foods to
your diet, such as whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Select foods rich in vitamins
A and C.
- Limit or eliminate the consumption
of foods containing fats and nitrites.
- Reduce or stop the smoking
of tobacco, and consume alcohol in moderation.
- Stay out of the sun, or
wear sunscreen and protective clothing.
