Ten Tips For Healthy Aging


  • Eat a balanced diet, including 5 portions of fruits and vegetables daily
  • Exercise regularly (check with your doctor before starting any program)
  • Get regular checkups
  • Don't smoke (it's NEVER too late to quit)
  • Practice safety habits at home to avoid falls and fractures
  • Stay active through work, play and community
  • Avoid exposure to undue sun and cold
  • Drink only in moderation
  • Keep personal and financial records in order
  • Keep a positive attitude toward life and do things that make you happy
