
Many people on diets begin
using brown sugar because they think it's "better" - perhaps
confusing what they've been told about brown and white rice. The truth
is that both brown and white sugar are both sucrose. The only difference
is that brown sugar has some molasses added for flavor and color - and
that brown sugar has no nutritional benefits over the table-variety white
kind!
