New WCAH Van Service!
As part of our ongoing objective to provide the most meaningful and convenient home health care service to Westchester, WCAH has begun providing Van Service – transporting certified Home Health Aides to your door, at no additional cost to your family! WCAH services private pay clients, third party reimbursement (such as long term care insurance), as well as contract service for other Medicare Home Care Agencies.
The current WCAH Van Service area includes all towns and villages along the Route 9 Corridor, from the Tappan Zee Bridge to Peekskill, with plans for future expansion.

An affiliate of Visiting Nurse Services in Westchester, Westchester Care At Home (WCAH) provides the highest level of health care in the comfort and peace of the client’s own home. WCAH’s certified Home Health Aides provide assistance with activities of daily living, with ongoing supervision by Registered Nurses, 24 hours a day/7 days a week. WCAH encourages its clients’ independence, promotes a safe and appropriate environment, while providing socialization, compassion, comfort and support.
A Registered Professional Nurse visits the client’s home to establish a plan of care to be followed by WCAH’s carefully screened and fully insured staff. The Registered Nurse conducts home visits monthly, or more frequently if needed, to supervise the Home Health Aide and revise the plan of care if appropriate. WCAH’s scheduling coordinators regularly call to ensure that our staff is meeting the client’s needs. A Nurse and Service Coordinator are on call after regular business hours.
In the event that a client’s needs may better be met in a Skilled Nursing Facility, our Registered Nurses are available to complete the Patient Review Instrument (PRI) required for admission into the facility.
Scheduling is flexible and rates are affordable. WCAH bills the client directly; however, some private insurers and third party payers do provide reimbursement for WCAH’s services.
WCAH is a New York State Licensed Home Health Care Agency, providing services that meet the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP) National Standards of Excellence for Home Health Care.
