Westchester Visiting Nurse Services Group, Inc. (WVNS Group) today announced the launch of VNSW Community Care Navigation, Inc., (VNSW@CCN), a new company that will provide a wide range of care navigation services for individuals, employers and groups.

VNSW is is observing its 120th anniversary in 2021 with a wide range of new programs and services that build on its tradition of “keeping our community healthy at home,” the theme of the year-long celebration.

Duirng National Home Care Month in November, the Home Care Associatioin of New York State, through its statewide Home Care Heroes campaign, is highlighting the exceptional work of nurses, home health aides, therapists and operational staff who have stood out in the COVID-19 pandemic. Home Care Heroes from VNSW and our affiliate agency, VNSW@Home, are being recognized for going above and beyond during the crisis.

Westchester Care at Home, an affiliate of VNS Westchester, has changed its name, and is now doing business as VNSW at Home. The two agencies are also moving to a new location in early October.

Visiting Nurse Services in Westchester (VNSW) has launched a new clinical program to help reduce instances of sepsis among the close to 10,000 patients it serves each year. Beginning in August, VNSW began screening its homecare patients for signs and symptoms of sepsis using a new interactive Sepsis Screening, Education and Early Intervention tool.
